Marsabit Roads around Town






Donkeys in Marsabit is a treasured animal. It is taken care of and is considered as part of the household wealth. Male Donkey is generally referred to as Mocho.  A donkey in Marsabit goes for between 18,000kshs-24,000kshs.

the Women talk and socialize on their way to the well in Marsabit. Sometimes they even sing. such other interaction between women is also seen when they go to fetch firewood from the forest.

Each Donkey carries 4 , 20 litre water Jerry cans.

MAF aeroplane landing at Marsabit Airstrip; the plane comes to Marsabit Twice a week : On Tuesdays and Thursdays, majorly delivers Parcels for the NGOs operating within the region and takes passengers who book beforehand.
